Hot Ham & Cheese Sliders

Ingredients:

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls split horizontally
  • Package of thin-sliced deli ham
  • Package of thin-sliced white cheddar
  • Container of semisoft cheese with garlic & herbs
  • 6 tbsp melted butter
  • ~1.5 finely chopped shallots
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Minced garlic

Recipe:

  1. Preheat the oven. Oven temp: 350 F
  2. Arrange the cut rolls side-by-side in a baking pan.
  3. Layer the ham and cheese over each other in the rolls. I usually split each piece of cheese into 4 quarters, splitting the ham in between them (so 8 layers).
  4. Spread the semisoft cheese along the cut side of the roll top and then place them back on top. Sanned wich
  5. Mix the melted butter with the mustard, shallots and garlic and then drizzle over the sliders.
  6. Cover the pan with foil and bake for 10 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes, or until the cheese seems nicely melted.

Notes:

Chopping up the shallots is a pain in the ass. Spreading the semisoft cheese is also kind of a pain in the ass. And applying the drizzle is also a pain in the ass since it's a weird combination. However these taste really, really good. So yknow.

This one's from a book so I have no link for you, sorry
