Pork Peanut Dragon Noodles
Ingredients:
- Butter
- 1-2 onions (depending on size)
- Minced garlic
- Fresh ginger (grated, or paste)
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- Pepper, MSG, salt, sugar to taste
- 2 cups fried rice (leftover, or leftover-ish)
- Oyster sauce
- Soy sauce
- Mixed frozen veggies (usually carrot+pea)
- Sesame oil
Recipe:
- Fry the onions in butter until somewhat soft.
- Add in the garlic and ginger, mixing together. (Don't linger too long on this step.)
- Add the pork and cook until fully browned. You can add more butter too.
- Pre-emptively swish some MSG and pepper into the rice and then add to the pan to fry.
- Mix up the oyster sauce, soy sauce, salt, pepper, MSG and sugar, while tasting to make sure the taste is good. Add it to the rice.
- Add the mixed veggies and mix in, cooking a while longer to make sure they're heated.
- Add a bit of sesame oil at the end and mix.
Notes:
For me at least this recipe sees 0 benefit to not winging the measurements of almost everything, since it's kind of a mishmesh of different recipes anyways, so I didn't bother. Follow your heart (and your tongue; tasting frequently really does help). I didn't put eggs in this version but I think they're better off cooked separately and then being added after anyways. You can probably make this with oil too but the butter is tasty
Kind of a mix of various recipes so I have no link for you, sorry
