This is where a general personality description or whatever else I want to put here goes.

History

Living in Ohio with his mother and father, his family was extremely close and loving, and lived blissfully together until his mother's sudden unexplained disappearance, when he was 12 years old. The case went cold within weeks, the police simply shrugging their arms at the lack of evidence and giving up almost immediately. An overwhelming bitterness in his heart, he distanced himself from others, shuttering himself away in his room and avoiding any remaining responsibilities.

In time, the bitterness changed to some mix of interest and desperation. wip

Physical Details

Calvin stands at 5'10" and is middling in weight. He has medium brown skin and deep warm brown eyes. His hair is black, wisping downwards to roughly shoulder-length. He doesn't cut it too regularly, and at times when it's grown to longer lengths he'll keep it tied up into a ponytail.

He typically dresses in a cozy-casual manner, wearing varieties of sweaters and button-up long sleeves alongside jeans or black pants. He seems to shy away from showing much skin, tending to avoid wearing short sleeves or shorts unless it's truly too hot to bear. He doesn't wear many light colors or whites, either, tending towards jewel tones or darker neutrals.

Though he doesn't necessarily look it, he is very physically sturdy, good at exerting himself as needed. He knows a decent amount of self defense, and is good at moving quickly.

Trivia

• He knows ASL, and has a (very rudimentary) knowledge of a few other sign languages. He knows the basics of various spoken languages as well, though far from anything you could call 'fluent'.
• He played pokemon with his brother when he was a kid. His favorite pokemon is Furret
• Nutmeg was an impulse adoption who he had to buy all the supplies for at once.
• There's a bottom shelf in a bookshelf somewhere in his house that's just dedicated to already-filled journals. The rest is devoted to various nonfiction books on random topics that he thought might sound interesting to read.
